hi every one i am trying to find out what is worng with my laptop. when i turn it on all that comes up is a black screen with time day clock stopped can any one help plez

It means the clock chip on the mainboard has failed - you will either need a replacement mainboard or to find a shop that can remove the chip (it is soldered) and solder in a new one.

thank you for your answer. is there any way around it till i get to a shop on monday?
