inspiorn M5030 7 beep problem but slightly different.

i have this laptop ( no longer under warrantee) and it was giveing 7 beeps and refusing to start up. i left it for a while and it finally restarted. it has gone back to doing the 7 beeps and not starting. i have opended it up to look for anyhting obvious loose connection wise, and have tried leaving one of the RAM chips out and then the other in case it was that. any ideas guys? its the fact it stopped, then started, then stopped again that has me stumped. if it is a processor failure, is it a case of jsut pluggin a new cpu chip in? or is it likely to be a socket problem? cheers

Hi flybynight78,

As laptop is beeping 7 times and not turning on, this indicates that there is a processor or processor connection failure in the laptop.

Changing the motherboard/processor of your laptop could fix the problem.
