Can anyone tell me what are my cpu options, and which one of them will give the most bang my buck. Right now im have a celaron 550@2.0 Mhz

Any of the 800 MHz bus Core 2 CPUs will work - the newer 1066 MHz bus units will not.

With the latest bios you can upgrade all the way to a 2.4GHZ, Core2Duo, 800MHZ FSB, Penryn Core cpu. Very easy to change out in an inspiron 1525.
