inspiron 3148 ram upgrade fail
hi i wanted to upgrade my ram from 4gb to 8gb so i bought this:
Samsung 8GB PC3L-12800/1600MHz DDR3 204 pin SO-DIMM M471B1G73BH0-CK0 For laptop |
but when i put it in correctly, i got 2 beeps that mean memory problem.
i don't understand why i's not compatible.
my current and original ram is samsung m471b5173eb0 - yk0 4gb 1600mhz.

The Inspiron 3148 supports a maximum of 4GB RAM only as tested by Dell.
