laptop beeps 4 times, and no power....?!? !
Hi,
I was wondering if someone out there know why my laptop beeps 4 times and does not power on and possibly help in resolving the issue. My laptop is a Inspiron 14R ( N4110). Thanks so much for your help in advance .

4 Beeps indicates a memory failure. Try taking out the ram and putting it back in.

Thanks for the quick reply, yeah i didn't set the memory in the socket properly...

I tried by taking out the ram and putting it back. But still the 4 beeps continues when I try to on my laptop.

you may want to try one more time because the memory needs to be set correctly, even if it's a ;tt;s off it will beep..........
