The lights/controls above the keyboard won't work. I cannot increase the speaker volumn, cannot mute, or bring the computer out of sleep mode

I have this same problem. The sensor for the touch-buttons above the keyboard must have an issue or something because all the buttons randomly are pressed. This causes my sound to mute and windows media direct thingy to come up, forcing an alt-tab out of all programs I am currently in. Some days it is worse than others where it will do this constantly every minute or so, and other days it wont do it at all.
Is there any way to disable the touch-keys above the keyboard completely?!

I don't think there is anyway to shut them off. I really want to turn them back on, but I cannot find any controls.

Yea i have searched for a long time and haven't found a single thing on the computer or on forums about them at all. Hope someone with knowledge of it posts in the near future!
