my OS is corrupted
hey there.....i have a question.....there is some files are corrupted on WINDOWS 8 on my dell laptop...so it is not booting.....and my recovery DVD is also missing.....can i get the windows 8 product key from dell?

No - no product key is used. You will need to contact Dell for a set of recovery media, though. This is free under warranty (after warranty, a charge applies).

See here, I have a new video which explains the UEFI BIOS SLP keys for Windows 8.1 and instructs in downloading the correct .iso. It then instructs in performing a clean installation with a UEFI BIOS with secureboot enabled:
