need the wireless driver for the MX846 Card (circuit), Wireless Minicard, DW1505, B1
I haven't been able to locate the driver for the DW1505 wireless minicard on a D430 Vista laptop. I had to flatten the box and reinstall Vist Business and when I tried to install the new wireless bundle on the Dell support site the proper driver wasn't available. Anyone else run into this and found a solution? Any advise would be appreciated.

Make sure you installed the Dell notebook system software and the Intel chipset driver BEFORE you try installing the wireless driver. Without these the wireless driver will not properly load.

I replaced the standard wireless 802.11 a/b/g minicard from my win XP based inspiron 640m with a draft 802.11n version (broadcom BCM4321 (i think???) (PIC: http://imgur.com/cXG26). The above mentioned driver did the trick for me. I just used the in .inf install, instead of the setup program. Hope it helps :)
