overheating issue on a Latitude D630

Hiya. So I originally got this from a friend and I assume it's been overhauled at some point, but I'm not sure about that. The person that gave it to me has disappeared so I can't ask him. In any case, it quickly runs extremely hot after I start it, and the clock isn't working properly, either. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
