revving harddrive, i think?
My inspiron 15r laptop seems to rev up and stop, rev up and stop. It sounds like the harddrives, but i don't know for sure?

Hi Adahrahn,
Welcome to the Community. Start by running a diagnostics to check if the hard drive is failing. Press the F12 key at the Dell logo on startup, select Diagnostics, and run an Extended diagnostics on your hard drive. Post back with any error codes.

I ran the diagnostics on the hard drive and it came back ok?
