rubber seal around screen coming off - latitude e7440
The rubber seal around my e7440 laptop screen is coming off, as shown in the pics below. It is also bulging outwards when the laptop is closed. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I am having the same issue on a Dell Latitude e7440 as everyone else on here. The laptop was actually serviced under warranty in the past for the same problem. Dell was able to resolve the issue at the time, but the problem is back. Please advise how to repair this issue or if Dell will warranty cover the last repair.

Having the same problem. Looks like there's no easy fix. Can you just cut the loose seal off? Does it serve a critical purpose?
