super HOT Studio 1457

Hi.

Im using DELL Studio 1457 for about 1years and now my laptop become very hot when playing game (even when im using cooler pad). When playing Warcraft III it can peak up to 85 celcius and about 90 when playing Civilization 5 and unexpectly shut down when playing HON.

I need an opinion on my decision.  Do I need to format my laptop or do I need to send my laptop for service, maybe the internal laptop fan has not working properly or do I need to contact Dell Service??

Start by running a diagnostic - that will verify the fan operation.  F12 at powerup.

Laptops usually become extremely hot when gaming, has this ever happened before? Even some high end laptops overheat when gaming and would just shutdown automatically. If it's abnormal then there's probably something wrong with your fan, too much dust perhaps? Unless if you think you can do it yourself without breaking your laptop you probably need Dell Service.
