touchpad problem

my touchpad is not working properly.and the time sted become behing the clock.i need service.my warranty period is not expired.

Hi ATHIRA V,

What is the exact system model? What is the current OS installed on the system? When did the issue start? Could you describe what you mean by "time sted become behing the clock"? Does an external mouse work fine?

If the system was working fine at some point earlier, then perform a system restore to restore the system back to an earlier point where it was working fine - http://dell.to/1Sg6khF 

Update the BIOS - http://dell.to/1n3X2po - enter the service tag and download the BIOS, update and restart the machine and check. Also, reinstall the touchpad drivers and a firmware if available.
