where to plug in spinning hard drive?

I have an Inspiron 3452 and it came a a very small hard drive (SSD). I went to the accessories for this particular model and ordered a 250 GB hard drive. However, when I open the laptop there is a place a hard drive should go but no cables to connect it. What am I missing?

The model that ships with the embedded MMC flash drive does not support a hard drive -- the only internal storage possible is the eMMC.

There is a model of this system that ships with a hard drive but without the eMMC -- if the system is new, you'll want to exchange the one you purchased for this one.

Thank you for your help. I thought it might be something like you describe but it said nothing in the documentation about not being able to add a hard drive and when I brought up accessories for my exact model on Dell's website it listed several hard drive options. Admittedly this is a very low end laptop but 28Gs of internal storage is not cutting it.   I will have to return the hard drive to Dell. Thanks again
