wifi 1397 upgrade to 5100 or 5300 on latitude e6400 only 2 ariel wires..

I have a latitiude E6400 with a dell wireless 1397 WLAN mini-card in it and would like to upgrade it, and was thinking of an intel  5300 but as my current hardware only has 2 arial wires and the 5300 needs 3 I believe for full speed am I wasting my time and I may as well get a 5100?

Thanks for the help any guidance on the difference between the 5100 and 5300 and whether I could fit a third arial wire or if the 5100 is plenty good enough would be much appeciated, or if you feel there is a better wifi card for my laptop, such as the 5350 though I am not sure if this fits.
