windows 8.1 error 0xc000021a
need help in troubleshooting this error.
i already tried refreshing option in windows 8.1. tried system restore but i cannot find any restore points.already ran the sfc scan but it says a scan is pending and that it needs to be restarted. and when i restarted my laptop i am back to square 1.
my laptop unit is dell inspiron 14 (7437)

Hi,
Can you try doing a running start up repair from advanced options?
Also try doing a clean boot to check if the issue reoccurs.
While doing the research on this issue, Found this link http://bit.ly/18WzSi6 which discusses the same issue, Please use this as a reference and try the steps given here except the step that asks you to PC optimizer software.

I received the same error in my Windows 8.1 and was unable to sort the issue for 4 days. Then i contacted this professional and he was able to solve the problem without wasting any further time.
