xps 9560 nvidia 378.78 windows 10 crash blue screen ( face of death)
Hi,
After installing the nvidia driver 378.78 there are more problems with my laptop.
Windows 10 crashes and the only solution is reverting back the nvidia driver to 378.49.
The drivers 378.66 had also a problem with installing.
I am not happy at this moment with my dell XPS 9560. There are a lot of problems that aren't solved.
My screen flickers also sometimes.
Dell xps 9560, 32 GB, 1 TB, 4K resolution.

Same problem here, i had to go back to the 378.49. I think problem may be with the nvidia controller and not dell.

Same exact issues - blue screen of death and screen flickers - unpredictable and way too often.

having the same issues. After re installing the NVIDIA driver, blue screens disappeared, but still intermittent performance issues and hangs for 15 seconds.
New Bios installed and all Dell drivers updated. any idea's?

Hi,
My motherboard is replaced last week and I was testing it till today. It seems that the problem was related to the hardware (motherboad) failure. After replacing new motherboard by dell my system is stable with the latest drivers from Nvidia and Intel.
Also the screen flickering/flash is gone.

I'm having the same issue. I can re-create it every time by using either Firefox or Chrome, and visiting r e a l t o r dot com. (Pardon the url format, it wouldn't show up otherwise.) Click around a bit, hover over a few menu items...boom...BSoD with "BAD_POOL_CALLER" error. I'm very, very disappointed that I spent this amount of money on what is supposed to be a first class laptop, and it's basically useless. Dell has burned me for the last time. I'm going to make the argument to them for a full refund. I've owned several high-end Toshiba laptops over the past 10 years and all of them were absolutely flawless workhorses. Never had to call their support line even once. Ugh!

I have the exact same system, exact same issues. I've opened a case with Dell and they couldn't resolve it. Wasted a whole day doing a factory reimage and messing around with drivers.
Returning the laptop today. Off to Microsoft Surface...
