what would cause the battery status light to blink orange and then blue on my M2010?

More info Needed, Age of system, Is it pluged in or have you been operating it on battery and for how long.
Low battery or the Battery is starting to Fail and you will need to replace it soon.!.

Your plug in wall power supply is either failing or incorrect for the unit. This will cause the led to blink yellow 4 times and then blue. The unit requires a 19.5 volt DC at 130-150 watts Dell power supply. It will also keep the machine speed in a slow default mode and the battery charge indicator wil show "not charging"
I had the same problem. Some how my PS got swapped with the PS for my laptop which was only 90 watts. Even though it did fit and run my 2010... it was not powerful enough to maintain the charge circuit and speed step intel processor.
