Battery Life Indication Fluctuates
Hi
Just yesterday I got a Dell Inspiron 15 3000Series and I have noticed that the battery fluctuates. I mean, for example sometimes its says 4hrs 15 mins remaining, and I check it again after few minutes, it says 7hrs remaining. Though the percentage indication of battery doesn't change, its just the time left on the battery changes.
What would be the cause and solution?

Hi,
Thank you for writing to us!
In this case we would suggest you to check the battery health meter and check the status ,however you can also check the same is BIOS and also Update the BIOS .
The battery time will also depend on the kind and number of applications that are open/ running on the system.
If the system is idle the time of the battery life will be longer .
