CD (s) stuck in DELL 1558 slot-loading optical drive

Hi,

My (daughter's) DELL 1558 built in slot-loading optical drive won't eject a CD. When I attempt to eject the CD via the right mouse button eject option or the eject key next to F12 on the keyboard there is a whirring noise and the keyboard over the drive bulges. My guess is that there are (at least) 2 CDs in the drive which can't eject either of them.

I have tried fishing the CD out with double sided sticky tape, no luck.

After reading other posts I have looked for a pin sized eject button, which I can't find.

The laptop was purchased ~6 months ago, I don't want to invalidate any warranty.

Any thoughts on how I can get the disks out  ?

I had a look through the forum and couldn't find an answer to this issue for 1558.

Thanks

Steve
