Dell Inspirion 3521 Drivers for Windows 7 (32 Bit) - Specially VGA (HD Graphics 4000)

Purchased brand new laptop Dell Inspiron 3521 i3 1.8 Ghz, 4GB, 500GB. I am unable to install VGA Driver on Windows 7 (32 Bit).

I have tried to install drivers in order mentioned at:

and also took guideline from here.

Downloaded Drivers from this site but no luck.

After entering Service Tag, I don't see the Win 7 (32 Bit) Compatible Drivers List

Also read below thread but

When I tried to download Intel Driver it says;

Why do you have Windows 7 32-bit????

The only supported OS are Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 8 64-bit.

If you insist on using Windows 7 32-bit, you must find your own drivers.

Hi.

i was also stuck with this problem from months.but found a solution that i guess i pray works.

it will only work for graphics driver.

you can use online update option in devie manager.

My Computer -> properties -> Advance system settings -> Hardware -> Device Installtion settings -> select yes do this automatically.

now you will be able to seach driver online and it will automatically download and install it.

if you get error or unable to search do ask me may be i can help.

thanks.

I did it but when I click on first option and save changes, it goes no where. Would you recommend me to use 64 Bit Windows 7. Once I installed Windows 7 (64 bit) and had problem in few software compatibility that's why I am afraid of 64 Bit architecture.

Please recommend.

Finally I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate (64 Bit) and everything works fine.

Dear .

i will recommend 64 bit windows if your processor is 64 bit.it will double your laptop performance.

and dont worry 64 bit wont bother you.

and as far as you problem is concern i think you should change settings and then restart your laptop and then try.and disable all hardaware whose drivers are not installed.

next time just for checking if you ever install windows 32 bit install install lan driver and 2nd graphics online.

regards.

Hi ,

I had been facing similar problem as yours.

I had installed win 7 32 bit in my laptop and have been facing issues in getting the drivers (like the driver for video card ). Could you please let me know the best solution is to install win 7 64 bit ? Now is that you have would have been using 64 bit , are you facing any problem in software compatibility ?
