Inspiron 15 7559 4k screen issue

Is there a "driver or ICM file" for the screen? Shows up in my device manager as generic pnp.

I know the screen is an LG Philips [Unknown Model: LGD04D9] 156UD2  [DELL P/N: 53FC4] according to HWinfo64.

I would like to have the correct info for the screen as I use it for photography and the colour reproduction is important.

Thanks

Hi,

Regardless of the part or the make of the screen on the laptop. It would still show as generic PnP Monitor. Its the same on almost all systems

Yes I know that, but there should be a specific set of insteructions for the screen rather than using Windows default settings. All screens have different characteristics. My XPS laptop with its Full HD screen had "proper" drivers for the screen and the colour rendition improved massively when using it.

i understand your concern.  As mentioned before, laptops do not come with ICC profiles. If it were a monitor, it would be a different case.
