Switching Hard drives

I have an XPS M1530 4years old

                   it has Vista Home Pro Service pack 2.

     Processor - Intel Core Duo CPU  T5450@ 1.66GHz

     Ram           4-GB          32-Bit OS

    HD disk is a WDC WD1200BEVS-75USTO wanting To change to A- OCZ SATA 2  2.5" Soild State Drive 250GB

Question can it be done and should their be anything to look out for? Thanks for the help.
