XPS 9550 Touchpad coming up
The touchpad on my 9550 is starting to come up/rise. It is so high I can easily slip a fingernail underneath it. Can't find anything similar.

Most likely, the battery is swelling inside the system and causing the lift. Contact Dell for warranty repair on the system (it's new enough it's just about certainly under warranty).

Thanks to both of you, will call Dell, can't afford to not have a computer for a couple weeks so wondering how this will work if I need to send it in. Any chance eelton1 can PM me the message that was PMed to you? Feel a bit freaked out because they didn't want to discuss a major engineering issue on a public forum, keeping it on the hush.

For some reason I don't see a PM option for you, but the end result was that I was asked to send the computer back to Texas...for a third time.
I know what you mean about not wanting to be without a computer. It ends up being two weeks each time I send it in.
