dell inspiron 1545 webcam

hello

 i have a dell inspiron 1545 and cant get the webcam to function at all .my problem started once i upgraded from vista to win 7. if have seen other threads from 1545 owners but havent found any answers to the problem. any help provided will be gratefully appreciated.
