I have a dell lattitude d630 laptop with windows 7pro pre installed,do not have disk.I would like to install xp pro,I have disk.Is this possible,and how to?Thanks

Yes you can use downgrade rights and install Windows XP Professional so long as it is a Dell XP Reinstallation CD.
Follow my wiki A Clean Install of Windows for best results. I recommend keeping Windows 7 opposed to going to XP however but you are able to do either. You can use a retail .iso and phone activation for Windows 7 as explained in the wiki.
