Charge Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1 via USB-C (USB 3.1)?

Hi folks,

I'm a little bit confused concerning the USB-C port. In the description of the Inspiron the following paragraph is listed:

High performance, small scale: The USB Type C port supports single-cable docking for more convenience, DisplayPort for connecting to ultra-high resolution external displays, and DC-in, so you can charge your 2-in-1 the same way you do on your tablet.

I have a power supply with USB-C but I'm not able to charge the laptop. Is charging via USB-C possible or not? If yes, how? I have currently a 5-port Anker power supply. If not, what's the meaning of the paragraph?
