Dell Wireless DW5809E specifications

Where can I find the detailed specifications of the Dell Wireless DW5809E? My main questions are:

1. Which LTE/UMTS/GSM frequency bands does it support?
2. Does it have GPS/aGPS capabilities?

Thanks a lot for your support!

Hello Florian

You say that GPS is available.

I have a Latitude E7450 with a 5809E. I would like to use GPS from .Net - prefereably by using a virtual com port and NMEA.

I spent some time trying to figure out how to use the GPS-Module, but didn't find anything.

Can you point me to the right resources?

Thanks a lot and greetings

Peter

Hello Peter,

unfortunately I haven't got any information on how to access the GPS feature for software development purpose. I can only tell that the GPS feature can be used within applications like the Microsoft Maps App.

Kind regards,

Florian

Bonjour Florian,

Hello Stephan,

please note that this is a German community forum, which is moderated by German speaking tech support. If you are located outside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, I'd ask you to use the English community forum.

As far as I can tell, Free Mobile uses Band 3 (1800Mhz) and Band 7 (2600Mhz) for LTE, which are supported by the DW 5809E card.

The error message points to a problem with your SIM card.

For all further questions please use the English community forum.

Regards,

Florian
