Can anyone tell me what this "boop" noise means?

The "boop" noise is at about the 0:03 mark in the video below. It only does this in the afternoons and evenings. Sometimes it happens while I'm typing, and sometimes while I'm moving the mouse. It's random, but sometimes there will be several "boops" in rapid succession. I'm stumped. IT is stumped. This Latitude laptop is relatively new. I have noticed some "lag" recently when typing or trying to click things with the mouse. Just curious if anyone knows what this is or how to fix it.
