Cleaning the Area around E6420 Touchpad of Some Grime
There are some scratches to the area off and around my Dell Latitude E6420's keyboard and touchpad.
In an attempt to get them removed, I used this polish.
In restrospect, I probably should've been more precautious. I don't know what in the heck came to my mind back at that instant.
Now there're some "sticky-feeling" residue around said area. It's unattractive both in sight and feeling. As such, I'd like to have them removed — but don't know how.
Help.

Welcome to the Dell Community @B1mb20D
First option.
Replace the palmrest::
Dell Latitude E6420 Palmrests:
https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=category&id=140&subid=355&refine=palmrest
Second option:
Apply Carbon Decal.
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=e6420+palmrest&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&LH_PrefLoc=1&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_odkw=e6420
Now these are just for the lids!!!
But I think one of my techs orders ones with palm rest decals???
I'll be leaving for the warehouse soon and I will check with him as to what he orders.
