DELL Latitude E6420 Does No Longer Show Display while LID status always CLOSED

I have the same exact problem as this guy in the previous post. Regarding his display no longer showing.

And i found out that the state of the E6420 is always CLOSED even the lid is open.

So is there anyway to disable the LID physically. There is nothing in the BOIS about disabling the lid switch.
