Dell G3 not charging

Hello I really need some help I have a dell g3 that made a pop noise while heavy gaming and now it will not run off wall power or charge the battery. Please help with any advice anyone can recommend this laptop was very expensive for me and I thought it was a good one. Is there an internal fuse or something that I can replace? My charger still lights up.

It'd help to know what model system you have, but:

1.  Make sure the LED on the adapter is solid ON before you plug in the system end.  If it's not, replace the adapter.

2.  If the system doesn't sense the AC adapter, even if the LED is on, replace the adapter with a new OEM Dell unit.

3.  If that doesn't get the adapter recognized, replace the DC jack in the system.

and if that doesn't work, the charge circuit is bad - replace the mainboard.

If the adapter is OK (LED on), then it's time to look inside to search for evidence of damage to the system board (which given the description will almost certainly need to be replaced).
