Dell Latitude e5430: can you install a m.2 drive?
Hi, I wanted to ask if you can install a m.2 ssd on this laptop.
On the manual it seems there's a bay for it. See this image:

Would anybody be able to clarify that pls?

Tried 4 different mSATA drives and not one was seen in the BIOS or W10 Disk Manager.
So the E5430's WWAN slot will not work with mSATA drives.

Hi thanks for your reply.
But if it's that's true that there are not M.2 slots then what's the slot circle in red in this picture?

That looks like a WWAN slot.
Depending on the model some have been able to install an mSATA in the WWAN slot???
I can pull an E5430 from my warehouse and test it just to make sure but it would not be till next Monday???

Thanks @nyc10036
It's been established it is a WWAN slot.
On Monday I'll be testing if an mSATA SSD will work in the WWAN slot.
