In most markets, none. Dell had (and may still have) an assembly plant for the India market, but the vast majority of systems are shipped from China.
Same goes for all the major brands from Apple to HP to you name it. The only notebook manufacturer that assembles some systems in the U.S. is Lenovo - some Thinkpads are assembled in North Carolina (of components made in China, as are all notebooks worldwide).

Yes now a days it comes down to where it is assembled!!!
Samsung of South Korea still uses parts from Ireland to India and yes China.
Most of the individual components are all the same it just matters where it is engineered and assembled.

WRONG. My new Dell 7000 states on the box: "MADE IN CHINA" There is nothing that says 'Made In USA,' which is very sad. Dell should step up. If this is made in America then that is what it should state! Thanks.

@USAMADE yes even when I bought 1 Dell inspiron few years back it was clearly stated both on box & on the back of laptop MADE IN CHINA
