Go into the BIOS Setup again and choose the option to change the system password. Enter the current system password, then at the prompt to enter and confirm a new password, just press Enter both times without typing anything.

@jphughan That doesn't work for the setup password on a G15 5510 v1.21.0 - after reboot, the password is active again.
