Latitude 5430 -> cctk.exe BootOrder issue -> Latitude is since 5430 not a enterprise NB
We use the cctk.exe in WinPE for setting the BootOrder (USB NIC (IPv4) first boot device (WD19S)) like this:
# cctk.exe BootOrder --valsetuppwd=.... --BootListType=uefi --Sequence=embnicipv4.*,hdd.* --DisableDevice=embnicipv6.* --EnableDevice=embnicipv4.*,hdd.*
On Latitude 5410 this works. On Latitude 5430 it does not.
ProSupport says: since "Legacy Option Rom" is not supported we can´t use cctk.exe to set the BootOrder (WD19S NIC).
The cctk.exe function "ForcePxeOnNextBoot" would solve this issue, but this option is not present on 5430. *poor*
so we can´t set the bootOrder, only manuallyl in BIOS. This is not ok for a enterprise-notebook ....
we bought 700 latitude 5430 and now we have to configure the bios bootOrder manually. Thank you dell for this feature!
I think we will never buy dell notebooks again ...
