Latitude 5580 - Upgrade existing 1TB SATA to 1TB SSD

I would like to upgrade my existing 1TB SATA HDD to 1TB SSD, is there something I need to consider before going ahead with that? and are there specific parts I need to purchase apart from the actual SSD?
