Reliability of the 7400 2 in1?

I recently made the mistake of trying to save money by going far an Inspiron 2 in 1 and have of course been plagued by the reliability issues inherent to the Inspiron range. I'll be getting rid of this one, to replace it with something far less problematic. I'd like to know whether people's experiences with the equivalent latitude 2 in 1 have been better or if the 2 in 1 setup should just be avoided altogether.
