dell 2 in 1 5290 TPM 2.0 not found

I tried to check for TPM 2.0. but I didn't find in settings and BIOS. Dell 2 in 1 5290 is good alternative to surface pro 6.

It has 8th gen CPU i5 and 8GB ram . It is fast. Battery backup is good. But, how can I find TPM 2.0 in this 2 in 1.

In the BIOS the setting is the Intel PTT. And yes your system is on the list of Dell supported systems for the Windows 11 update.

Welcome to the Dell Community @robby9898

Are you sure you checked in your BIOS under System Security???

https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/latitude-12-5290-2-in-1-laptop/latitude_5290_2-in-1_om/security-screen-options?guid=guid-0278c458-32e4-41c1-bd45-da13f7ab7beb&lang=en-us

This should be listed???

TPM 2.0 Security:

Allows you to enable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) during POST.

You can control whether the trusted platform module is visible to the operating system. The option is:
  • TPM on This option is selected by default.
  • Clear
  • PPI Bypass for Enable Commands This option is selected by default.
  • Attestation Enable. This option is selected by default.
  • PPI Bypass for Disable Commands
  • Key Storage Enable. This option is selected by default.
  • SHA-256. This option is selected by default.

Best regards,

U2

When I took tablet to local repair center, they told me windows 11 upgrade is not possible even it is in Dell listed device for upgrade.

I think the seller shipped devices without TPM 2.0 and sold them.

should I take device to  Dell official authorized service center?
