[WARNING] Intel Skylake/Kaby Lake processors: broken hyper-threading
I stumbled across this:

And apparently all recent XPS are concerned. What is the official Dell recommendation for this? just update BIOS?

i would like to know this too. is the microcode included in the latest bios update 1.4.17 for the 9350?
