XPS 13 with DA310 Adapter - issue with Ethernet bandwidth

Hi there. I've checked the knowledge base, but couldn't find anything related to my issue.

I've just bought a (pretty expensive) DELL DA310 7-in-1 adapter for my XPS13 laptop.

When connecting to the RJ45 port on the DA310, the Ethernet download speed is limited to 100 Mbps (using Wifi, it goes up to 500 Mbps, and 900 MBps using the built-in RJ45 on my Mac). Is there a technical limitation on the DA310 or is it a parameter that can be modified somewhere ?

I've tried all USB-C ports on my XPS, same result.

Any ideas welcome ! thanks in advance,

Hi, I've just had a similar problem trying to download Office 365 onto a Dell 5521 - the d/load just kept failing stating "Is your internet connection ok (and do you have HDD space)". So I disconnected the Ethernet from the DA310 and went direct to the laptop's RJ45 port - problem solved. BTW, I tried 3 times with the DA310 and each time the d/load failed so there is a bandwidth issue.

Another problem I found with the DA310 is that it can't drive 2 monitors simultaneously, just one at a time. So I now have ordered the WD19TBS. Anyone interested in a second hand DA310?
