Any way to update the BIOS for Mini 9 running Ubuntu?
The only file(s) that appear to be available for updating the BIOS on the Inspiron Mini 9 is for Windoze. Is there any way to update the BIOS for an Ubuntu system?

Well you can check the linux BIOS update procedure on the dell linux wiki: http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Tech/libsmbios_dellBiosUpdate
Unfortunately Dell doesn't seem to be doing a very good job of keeping their BIOS images up to date for use with the linux update tool. If you are lucky, they will have an update for your model posted. My workstation is lagging at least 6 months behind the published windows update (with no ETA).
