Audigy 2 - Linux Redhat 9

I recently purchased a Dimension 8300 and have redhat 9 installed - everything is working fine apart from the sound.  I have been trying to get my Audigy 2 sound card to work but no luck.  I read on another forum that the Audigy 2 supplied with dell differs (slightly) from retail version and wont work with the available linux audigy 2 (retail version) sound drivers.

I just wanted to see if anyone has got their Audigy 2 soundcard to work in Linux and if so can you please point me in the direction of which drivers to use and how to go about getting mine to work.  Any help greatly appreciated, going mad with no tunez here!!

I strongly suspect the OSS drivers at www.opensound.com will work.. They are -unfortuantly- a commercial product, and will cost $15.. I use them with the
Dell-specific SoundBlaster5.1 under Mandrake9/SuSe8 and Fedora Core 1. While purusing their knowledgebase, I seem to recall seeing the Audigy also listed as supported...
