BIOS /Flash Update ?

I have a XPS400 2.8GHz Dual Core Pentium D 3 G.B. DDR2 RAM 250GB H.D. ! My question is Iam still using the BIOS version that was installed at the factory BIOS ver A05 ! There is a updated version A07, I have never flashed a BIOS and it seems like a rather straight up install Iam aware that if you where to lose power in the middle of flashing the BIOS your options are not pretty ,! It could make a rather easy operation turn into a nighmare . All of my hardware is working fine . I also know with a nrew version of the BIOS you may have to update drivers on your H.W. ! Is it best to just leave it alonre since the PC is performing well ? I kidof gop by the "if it aint broke dont fix it " belief .

           Thanks to All that Reply

Hi, BIOS upgrades, when they go well, are great. But, when they go wrong, they will fry your mobo. As for upgrading your BIOS,  As the old saying goes, 'If it's not broke, don't fiddle with it'.

I couldn't agree more , as the old adage goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it"
