BlueRay in Ubuntu?

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

The 1420 does not come with a blue ray burner. I am not sure where that option was located on the sales page. Can you send me the link to where you saw the option to purchase a blue ray burner on a 1420? Here is the link to the Sales Page.

Thanks you for the prompt reply. Sorry, I am in Australia and was looking at the Australian website.
It didnt occur that the websites would be that different.

Australia doesn't sell Linux Notebooks and so I had posted as the Blueray was an option on the Oz website.

The Notebooks both come with the same model Nvidia and wireless hardware which the Ubunutu DvD iso should support just fine. I will still be getting the Dell 1420 once I have sufficient funds...
