Dell PowerEdge R530

Good Day Everybody,

I want to ask about installation Linux Centos-5.11 in Server PowerEdge R530, drive always not found,

my configure like this ;

- RAID using RAID0 with 1physical disk (2TB capacity)

- CPU 8 Core

- RAM 16 GB,

do you why in server PowerEdge R530 not support installation centos verion 5.11 ?

any solution for this case ?

I've tried a few in order to install CentOS and so that the drive unreadable, but still it is not legible,

No, RHEL 6/7 are supported, but not 5. You could try loading the driver for the RAID controller, but it may not work with your version of the kernel. I would use CentOS 6.x if possible.

Thank's for your suggest,

I've tried loading the drive for RAID Controller, but still not work,

my solution now using Vmware for Running my system used CentOS version 5.11,

if my system running in vmware using Operating System CentOS, whether there is a problem for it?

yeah, I've try use CentOS 6.x or 7.x if possible.

but my system not work in version higher,

No Events found!
