OpenSolaris, Loud Bleep+Black Screen
Hi, There Wasn't A Correct Area To Post This So I Guessed This Is The Best Place,
I Want To Install OpenSolaris To My Dell inspiron 9300, But Randomly After So Long I Get A Loud System Bleep, The Screen Goes Black And The Sound Crackles,
It Boots Fine Its Just Random After So Long, And Its Not Overheating!
This Has Never Happened Before On Other OS's Like Solaris, Can Anyone Give Me An Idea To What The Problem Is And How To Get Around This, Im Desperate To Get Back Onto OpenSolaris =[??

Beats that heck out of me. I installed Open Solaris on my Lattitude D600 and didn't have that problem. May be you should try reinitalling it from scratch.
