Using fingerprint reader on Mandriva 2009

Hi,

I have a Dell XPS M1530 with the fingerprint reader. Can anybody please give me information of making the fingerprint reader work in Mandriva 2009.0? It sure doesn't work out-of-the-box.

Please let me know.
