Wireless?

I have a dual boot, windows XP and Ubuntu Linux. When I type iwconfig, this is what I get.

lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

eth1 IEEE 802.11b/g ESSID:"" Nickname:"Howards"
Mode:Managed Access Point: Invalid
RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

sit0 no wireless extensions.

I cannot get the wireless to work at all and I need to get it fixed as soon as possible. Are there any drivers for Linux for this card? I have tried using ndiswrapper with the windows driver, but it doesn't seem to be working, since Linux will not even detect wireless networks. I'd greatly appreciate any help you could give me.

what kind of computer do you have? I know Ubuntu doesn't work with the 1390 minicard out of the box. You need to install the driver for the card in Ubuntu. check out http://ubuntu1501.blogspot.com/2007/01/fixing-wifi-on-dell-1501.html if you have inspiron 1501 or 1390 minicard.
