XP Blue screen after FC5 install

Hello,

I hope that someone can help me out here. I just got my Inspiron E1505 with XP Media Center. I updated Windows and installed all my software. The system came with 65GB NTFS (for XP); 20GB NTFS and a default Dell partition at the beginning of the drive.

I install FC5 in the second NTFS (20GB) partition and the installation went well. After successful install, I rebooted to XP and the BSOD after I log in. GRUB was installed on the second partition, not MBR.

I tried to reload XP but the can't boot into the OS DVD or access CTRL-F11.

Can some please suggest how I can resolve this and reload the OS? I suspect that there are something trying to access the second NTFS partition that is now Linux.

Thank you in advance.

Hello there, in order to give you a better answer I (we, the community) require the actual bugtrap/trapdoor code show in your specific case (the bugtrap is the BSOD by the way).

Usually these nasty things comes in the flavor of: STOP 0x0000000A or such, and then a debug code that reads something like IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or something like that.

I f you provide us with that maybe we may pinpoint what's wrong on your computer's tummy :D
